Bought our tickets early, arrived 30 minutes early and waited in line. I knew it would be "crowded" so I went with a open mind because my girls really wanted to go. This was on the top of our list for Vegas Vacation. Overall, it was something we can say we did, but not something that my family or I would recommend. Many of the interactive exhibits and rooms were music related like making music, which was cool but not what we were hoping. It was more of an art exhibit than anything. As escape room enthusiasts, the “puzzles” were disappointing and confusing. We were also confused about how we were supposed to “free the source”, and when we did figure out how, we needed help from an employee to do so. There was a cool artsy aspect of it, as well as amazing structure, but many of the rooms were purely artistry and not even related to the storyline, as well as didn’t make complete sense. Our family was hoping for secret passages and puzzles, as well as an answer to the “mystery of omega mart”. I was disappointed in the overall storyline, as the correct order was nearly impossible to discover, and didn’t make much sense. My family and I spent the extra money on top of our tickets for the storyline passes. They thanked me later for the spoilers because they did get stumped but were able to complete the experience with the hints I gave them. My kids said it was a bit physical in some areas where they climbed ropes or went on slides. Wear comfortable shoes and read all their rules prior to going. The experience is an art installation and also kind of like an escape room only there are lots of rooms to explore. I told my daughters not to look at them unless they got "stuck". I also researched and printed spoiler hints that I found online in a blog. I highly recommend you purchase tickets online prior to going. It is free to get into Area 15 but you need to make an online reservation. We hung out at the bar outside for a bit too. There are other things you can do while in Area 15 such as virtual experiences and adult style arcades. I am disappointed that we did not join them. My husband and I ate and had drinks to kill time while they were enjoying the experience. My 18 and 19 year-old daughters did with two 17 year-old friends. See also the relevant pinned thread in this sub.I researched the Omega Mart and Area 15 (the building that houses the mart) prior to coming to Vegas. "Is it OK to wear a costume?" (yes if it is 'decent' per respective state/local laws, and doesn't obscure the upper half of your face), and many more. "Are the spaces ADA-compliant or otherwise accessible?" (yes, with certain exceptions - see the full FAQ), "Do I have to wear an infection-preventing mask at the exhibits?" (you bet), "Are Omega Mart, Convergence Station, or House of Eternal Return short-term installations?" (nope, the plan is to be around for a long time at those locations although the art may be modified periodically), Remember to use Reddit's new spoiler tagging where appropriate to allow people to find out cool things on their own. This is an unofficial subreddit not run by the company, but sometimes an employee will give their perspective on a personal (not representing MW) basis. Post whatever you like related to Meow Wolf, their various doings, or even topics only tangentially related (for example, similar art).
